I need a vacation after our vacation. I sound like a spoiled brat.. We had a wonderful time don’t get me wrong.  Kauai is the most beautiful place on earth I’ve ever seen.  Pat and I, my Dad and Mom , Pat’s two girls ages 19 & 8 and Bekah & Sarah 17 & 15 went to Kauai for 5 days, we stayed in a beautiful condo on the beach which was wonderful.  We hiked mountains, beaches, snorkeled, wale watched, sailed, went horseback riding to waterfalls, swam in beautiful pools of water,watched the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, played and played some more. Oh yeah and shopped. oh and ate and ate. well you get the picture, we had a blast. But I’m pooped. I told Pat I can’t wait to go away with just him and relax. With 8 people all different ages and abilities it’s a lot of work.  But lots of good memories also. My mom is having a hard time with her memory any more and gets quite disoriented, so spending time with her and my Dad is a good thing.  I hope I can load some of the pictures to this blog to share with you.

March 18th, the day I met my wonderful husband. I never knew I could love and be so loved by someone so much, other than my children and God. Pat is the best Husband a woman could ever ask for.  I didn’t even ask and God gave me him. Some of you know, I didn’t want one. God knew better and gave me the best man alive.  He is always happy even when he is going on 2 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period.  I have never seen him grumpy! We have so much fun together even though our kids think we’re old and shouldn’t be having this much fun.  This last 2 years seem like 20 yet where has the time gone? Life is Good, I never dreamed I could be this blessed.

We have had a wonderful winter with lots of snow, Lord knows we need it in the dry state we are in,  BUTTTT… I’ve had enough, I’m ready for spring.  Saturday was such a beautiful day 65 degrees, no wind, rain,or snow only pure sunshine, and warm.  Today we woke up to 25 degrees and snow. Whats happening God? I’m ready for nice warm weather… It made me think about God’s timing.  Myheart wants one thing and God usually wants the same thing but in His timing. For those who know me I’m not a patient person, I want things done yesterday. I love to organize things make them look nice and my garage is a mess. We start to get it straighten and then it snows and we can’t work on it again.  Then I think about God’s teaching I start to hear what He wants for my life and start working on  it and then  I get wrapped up in my own busyness and forget what God wants.  Thankfully God is a forgiving God and IS patient with me, and his timing is perfect. 

Well, after 1 hour of trying to get my picture down loaded it sort of worked. A little to big though, so here goes take 2.

Well, I thought I would try and get with the computer world and try a blog. I’m not a writer by any means, but I love to share my photos of my family and my most adorable grandchildren. I’m also not very computer savy,  I’m doing this all on my own so who knows if it will even turn out. I’m stepping out side of my box and giving it a try. Pat will be proud of me since he’s the computer wiz.  Juliana just turned 1 and I got the most adorable naked shots of her, I hope she still loves me when she’s older.  Click over the text to get the picture.
